ABOUT SPACE STUDIO

Space Studio CMU is an undergraduate Advanced Option Studio taught at Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture in the Spring of 2016 by Ann Kalla Visiting Professor Christina Ciardullo.

Space Studio is an outgrowth of nearly a decade of studios born at Columbia University by Professor Yoshiko Sato and continued by her husband Michael Morris at both Columbia and Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. As a former student and current colleague Ciardullo continues in the tradition of her mentors in bringing space studio to Carnegie Mellon.
